Her therapeutic approach draws from a variety of methods, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EFT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Kelly completed her psychology training at Curtin University, earning a Bachelor of Psychology followed by a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Kelly is trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and is in the final stages of completing a Post-Graduate Diploma in Family and Relationship Therapy at the William St Family Therapy Centre.

I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and have completed extensive training in a variety of evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
I work with individuals/couples/families of all ages, from children (6yrs +) to older adults.
I have experience in treating anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and relationship issues.
My fee is $280 per 50minute session. It is important to note that the current recommended fee from the APS (Australian Psychological Society is $311 per 50min session.
If you have a GP Mental Health Care Plan you may be eligible for 10 rebated sessions per calendar year. As of July 2024 the medicare rebate is $141.85 per session.
Some health insurance plans offer rebates for psychological treatments. Check with your insurer to see whether you qualify. Please note you cannot claim rebates from Medicare and your Private Health Fund for the same session.
I know it can be difficult to manage appointments during business hours. I only see young children during school hours, however, I do offer a small number of early (7am/8am) and later (5pm/6pm) appointments on request.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact me as soon as possible.
Please note that a cancellation fee will apply as per practice policy with notice of less than 24 hours.
